As a Locum Cardiologist you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with cardiovascular conditions performing diagnostic procedures and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuity of care and enhancing patient outcomes in our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality cardiovascular care to patients
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in patient education and counseling
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Current medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Board certification in Cardiology is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-5p
Weekend call shifts available
Daily Volume: 12-16 patients or 8-10 when on-call
Patient Population: 65
Setting: Outpatient and inpatient
Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding consultations ECG ECHO nuclear study readings and some non-invasive procedures
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: Clinic staff
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
