About the Lab:
Lighthouse Lab Services is working with a new reference laboratory in Austin TX delivering comprehensive clinical testing services with a commitment to scientific excellence and compliance. Join a dedicated team working with Horiba and Thermo Fisher Scientific analyzers across core lab functions.
WHAT YOULL DO:
As a Core Lab Technologist youll perform a broad range of clinical testing and support daily operations in a high-quality laboratory environment. Core responsibilities include:
Performing routine and specialty testing in chemistry hematology immunology and serology.
Operating and maintaining automated analyzers (Horiba Thermo Fisher) and performing QC and calibration activities.
Reviewing test results documenting findings and ensuring accuracy and adherence to lab protocols.
Preparing specimens reagents and controls; troubleshooting instrument issues in partnership with supervisor/technical specialists.
Complying with laboratory safety regulatory standards and quality assurance practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science Biological Sciences Chemistry or related field.
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience with core testing disciplines (chemistry hematology immunology serology).
Familiarity with automated core lab instrumentation (e.g. Horiba Thermo Fisher) strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
