Mid-Level Cybersecurity Analyst

i3 is seeking a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Analyst who will design implement and maintain secure cyber systems to protect an organizations information and assets from cyber threats. The candidate will conduct scans remediations and enforce Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements to meet governmental compliance regulations.

• Provide accurate technical evaluations software applications full system or network and documenting the security posture capabilities and vulnerabilities against applicable RMF controls.
• Selecting and implementing RMF security controls timely completion of accreditation packages formulating and implementing mitigations and maintaining the security posture of systems.
• Identify assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout a systems lifecycle validate system security requirements formulate and maintain documentation and system certification and accreditation activities (planning testing assessing and coordinating).
• Documenting preliminary or residual security risks for system operation & manage and approve Authorization Packages.
• Monitoring and evaluating a systems compliance with Department of War (DoW) security resilience and dependability requirements including performing validation steps comparing actual results with expected results and analyze the differences to identify impact and risks at the software application system and network levels.
• Work with team to provide solutions and to ensure continued functionality of systems within RMF Framework.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Bachelors degree in a technical field is required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
• 2-7 years of relevant experience.
• Secret Clearance is required.
• Knowledge and/or experience in the Cybersecurity Domain.
• Knowledge and/or experience with implementing and evaluating DISA STIG requirements RMF IAVMs and Cybersecurity assessment tools (eMASS ACAS Nessus SCC/SCAP STIG Viewer EVAL STIG Foritfy Army SwAT Splunk HBSS/ESS etc).
• Knowledge and/or experience in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
• Knowledge and/or experience of information system architecture and standards as they apply to cybersecurity.
• Minimum 8570 IAM I Certification (i.e. Security CISSP or CASP).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
