Job Title: Schools Out Enrichment Specialist

Reports To: Schools Out Site Director
Summary: To plan and facilitate periodic enrichment activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administers the operation of periodic enrichment workshops by:
- Meeting with Site Directors to discuss planning and expectations
- Plan and implement weekly workshops that encourage creativity allow for skill development and expose children to new experiences.
- Submit plans to the Site Director
- Interacting with students staff parents and the school community in a constructive manner to create a positive welcoming learning environment.
- Providing general supervision to students. Ensures guidelines for participation inclusion conduct and discipline are followed to maintain a safe enjoyable learning environment.
- Monitoring student transitions and dismissal from activities.
- Serving as a liaison and maintaining relationships with students school administrators parents/guardians volunteers and community members.
- Attending meetings as needed.
- Providing regular reports and/or feedback to the Site Director containing a summary of activities recommended actions needs concerns and success highlights. Reports incidents involving students and/or staff immediately to the Schools Out Coordinator.
- Participates in training and professional development as determined appropriate by the Schools Out Coordinator.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for student supervision and problem resolution. All responsibilities are carried out in accordance with District policies and procedures and applicable laws.
Education and/or Experience: Experience in a leadership role with school-aged children and previous school employment preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities: An ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students staff and the community is essential. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form is required. An ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board policies is important.
