WHEDA is seeking a Manager Commercial Loan Servicing to join our Risk department in our Madison facility.
SALARY: Hiring Range for this position is from $85275 to $106404 Annually. Offered Salary will be based on qualifications and internal pay equity. WHEDA provides a competitive salary and WHEDA employees participate in the State of Wisconsin benefit package which includes retirement health insurance and deferred compensation programs.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Manager Commercial Loan Servicing is responsible for servicing and related activities of WHEDAs multifamily affordable housing and economic development loan and guarantee portfolio. Day-to-day management of existing loans payments and borrower issues including delinquencies escrows and performance monitoring of the portfolio. This position also has supervisory authority for exempt and non-exempt employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Manages the activities of the Commercial Loan Servicing Team including portfolio analysis quality assurance and commercial loan servicing. This includes planning coordinating administering and evaluating programs portfolios contracts projects processes procedures systems standards and/or service offerings for these functions.
- Perform supervisory duties for the Commercial Loan Servicing Team including hiring training coaching performance evaluations and corrective action. Ensure employees follow policies and procedures maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
- Executes administrative management of loan portfolios including collaborating with internal and external partners on troubled properties and reporting to meet federal and state requirements for multifamily and economic development programs administered by WHEDA. Provides analysis and complex reports related to loan portfolio.
- Monitors timeliness and completeness of tasks required under government regulations contracts lending programs and legal documents.
- Responds to requests for information and provides subject-matter-expert guidance to other departments customers the general public and/or outside agencies. Research and evaluates the impact of legal or regulatory changes.
- High-level involvement with new initiatives enhancements to program design and customer service selecting/implementing new and existing software formulating/modifying new and existing policies programs and procedures;adheres to strategic plan.
Performs or assists with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Real Estate Accounting Economics or a closely related field AND 7 years of progressively responsible experience related to commercial or multifamily loan servicing risk analysis or asset management including 5 years of supervisory experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Remote Work Options:
This position has a work schedule that will initially be 100% in-office. After training is complete it is at the discretion of the direct manager when the employee may begin a hybrid work schedule with up to two remote days weekly.
