About the role:
Were seeking a Product Designer Design Systems to join our product team at a pivotal moment in our companys this role youll help design and engineering teams build consistent high-quality experiences across all products and platforms. Youll own and evolve our design system across design tools front-end libraries infrastructure and documentation and contribute to internal tooling that will enable us to ship products and features faster.
This position is based on site in our downtown Toronto office.
What youll do:
- Build evolve and maintain a scalable design system across Clutchs web and iOS products.
- Work closely with design lead and developers to support design-to-code workflows.
- Collaborate with marketing team to incorporate our brand identity into the design system.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation usage guidelines and examples.
- Influence design system roadmap and long-term scalability.
- Evaluate new technologies frameworks and tooling improvements.
What were looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of tech/startup or digital product agency experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a reusable component library and implementing details in code.
- Excellent understanding of frontend development (HTML CSS JS React).
- Excellent visual design skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and domains.

Employment Type:
- New Permanent Full-Time
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $130 000-170 000 per annum
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plans include healthcare dental care vision care prescriptions life insurance and dependent coverage; start from day 1. (Applicable for Permanent Full-Time)
