POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The UW Medicine Patient Access Business Operations/System Analyst leads plans designs coordinates documents tests all technical Epic system application enhancements updates Upgrades and new system functionality implementation for Front-End Hospital Operations (Admitting and ED Registration). This requires a deep understanding of the Enterprise Wide Revenue Cycle with a technical focus on Patient Access operations (Admitting and ED Registration) and system tools including cross-functional Epic systems knowledge and technical tool and system development technical analysis and documentation for all Epic system applications and workflow processes used in conjunction with cross functional UW Medicine customer groups. The incumbent coordinates the operational and technical planning design documentation testing and implementation of Epic system implementations using information technology methodology with extensive knowledge of Epic (Grand Central Prelude Estimates Reporting) HL7 and MS Office products (Excel Word PowerPoint Visio).
