Job Summary

Were looking for aJob Control Specialistto join our Insurance Operations this role you will review the case collect trace outstanding requirements summarize all underwriting requirements received and recommend an underwriting decision for the Underwriter to review and complete.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review applications and associated underwriting evidence.
  • Analyze and summarize risk profile.
  • Classify risk according to company philosophy and recommend to underwriter.
  • Manage aspects of the underwriting process while pending underwriting requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to change.

Required Qualifications:

  • College or University graduate of any medical or health science course
  • Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Underwriting experience or working in a Life Insurance company is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication verbal and written skills in English
  • Good typing/keyboarding skills
  • Good organization analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
