As a member of our Solution Consulting team you will provide technical sales partnerships to customers within the Retail industry with product and solution guidance with a specialized focus on AI-enabled transformation. Aligned with a variety of Enterprise-level Accounts the AI-focused Advisory Solution Consultant will participate in the growth of the customer by utilizing world-class technical pre-sales techniques to communicate the power extensibility and ease-of-use of the ServiceNow platform and its AI capabilities.

The Advisory Solution Consultant is a pre-sales technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop position and provide technology-based solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
- Serve as a hands-on technical and AI specialist supporting Enterprise Retail accounts through complex sales cycles driving AI opportunities to Technical Win
- Conduct AI-specific discovery sessions to uncover automation opportunities assess data readiness and identify high-impact use cases aligned with Retail-specific challenges including store operations supply chain customer service and digital transformation
- Engage regularly with C-Suite Executives and senior stakeholders fluently translating between deep technical AI concepts and executive business language to align technology decisions with measurable business outcomes
- Lead technical workshops or workstreams building and demonstrating use cases tailored to customer environments
- Partner with Sales on account planning opportunity strategy execution excellence and compelling AI business case development
- Take ownership of POV/POC engagements RFIs/RFPs and executive briefings with emphasis on AI capabilities
- Build new AI use cases and demo scenarios that showcase industry-relevant applications and stay ahead of market trends
- Actively experiment with ServiceNow AI capabilities troubleshoot implementations and share learnings with the regional SC community
- Represent ServiceNow as a subject-matter expert at executive briefings customer workshops and regional marketing events
- In conjunction with Sales Personnel and Customer Success conduct transition briefingscommunicate commitments set expectations in preparation for deployment
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
- ServiceNow platform knowledge with hands-on experience implementing workflows across the ServiceNow platform
- Curiosity to experiment with ServiceNow AI capabilities and build showcases to WOW our customers
- Retail industry process expertise or deep curiosity to dive into the industry
- Understanding of the broader GenAI ecosystem (OpenAI Google Anthropic AWS Bedrock Azure OpenAI)
- Willingness to stay current with GenAI market developments and integrate relevant trends into customer conversations and solution positioning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally
- Fluency in German and English
