Reporting to the Receiver the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Receiving storing and issuing stock preparing reorders as necessary. 
• Maintaining established par levels on both food and non-food items checking quality and quantity as per Company standards.
• Maintaining the cleanliness organization and safe environment of storerooms fridges and surrounding areas with the help of Stewarding.
• Is responsible for month-end inventory taking calculations and cost adjustments.
• Work with Receiver to follow up on back orders and partial shipments ensuring goods received on scheduled delivery dates. 
• Act for the Receiver and or Head Storeperson in their absence.
• Assist in maintaining other storerooms.
• Adequately assess the needs of departments with regards to par stock levels.
• May provide assistance to the Accounting department as required.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications :

• Strong organizational skills.
• Some experience in Accounting or Food & Beverage services would be an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail with very strong communication and organization skills.
• Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel Word Outlook.
• Must be able to perform continuous heavy lifting. 
• Previously demonstrated ability to work Safely.  
• The ideal candidate would have some previous experience as a Store person in a hotel Restaurant or Food & Beverage operation.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding exacting environment
