The Field Service Technician is a unique opportunity to be the front line of Videojets customer interaction through daily service and support. Through advanced technical and commercial training you will enhance all aspects of our this entrepreneurial role you operate from home and commute to some of the worlds largest manufacturing companies. At these sites you will support sales growth by discussing service agreements new products while delivering the highest quality of customer satisfaction in our industry. Our highly advanced industrial equipment will be installed repaired and maintained by you at our customer sites. In this role you will:

• Provide ongoing care and support for our customers equipment

• Install our products and solutions at customer locations

• Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems

• Become a trusted advisor and partner for our customers to develop excellent relationships.

• Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Problem-solve using available resources and creative solutions to resolve customer issues and will know when to ask for help

• Partner with customers to assess their needs manage their expectations and drive results

• Proactively listen to customers anticipate their needs follow through and work towards a mutually agreeable solution

• Collaborate with teammates managers and customers

Requirements

• Ability to travel including occasional overnight travel (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale including weekends)

• Up to two years of technical experience

• Basic computer/technical skills (can use email software phone apps Microsoft Word)

• Compliance with PPE safety and registration requirements of customers.

• Ability to perform and/or tolerate all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation including but not limited to.
