Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

The Digital Solutions Business Unit Controller is a high-profile role within the North American Controllership team. You will partner with the Digital Solutions Leadership Team to provide reliable and timely financial analysis used to facilitate decision-making. This position is based in Highland Heights KY.

• Analyze and prepares consolidated monthly forecasts variances to plan/forecast and reports financial statements to business team and cross-functional teams to identify operational levers for improvement in the financial performance of the team.
• Assist with month end closing monthly forecast update and analysis of variances; update Hyperion load files at a legal entity level during the Flash Forecast and Actual process; development of the annual budget.
• Work closely with the Senior Business Unit Senior Controller and business unit members to provide financial analysis on business initiatives and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Digital Solutions Leadership team to develop the Business Unit management plan forecasts and actual financial statements
• Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure that business transactions are properly recorded
• Deliver accurate and timely Business Unit reporting
• Research and understand monthly results as they become available and communicates findings to the Telecom business unit and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor business unit and plant operations to ensure adherence to company policies and accounting principles.
• Collaborate with Digital Solutions Leadership to meet and exceed Business Unit targets including action plans to highlight & mitigate potential risks
• Provide forward looking insightful analysis to the Digital Solutions team
• Some travel may be required (<10%) to directly support the Digital Solutions plants

Who are we looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to succinctly explain financial information to senior leadership and business unit employees
• Able to maintain strict confidence of financial sensitive information and demonstrate a high level of integrity
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment and effectively across a matrixed organization
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Over 5 years experience in business unit financial management budget management analysis and reporting
• Strong command of Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA/CPA/CMA
• Experience in Cost Accounting and Plant Controlling
• Proficiency in HFM and SAP
