The Role: Credit Risk Modelling Analyst
Youll support credit finance and commercial teams with analysis reporting and data-driven insights to improve decision-making and business performance. From dashboard building to scorecard development your work will help shape underwriting collections and product decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a data or business analyst role
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to monitor credit portfolio performance
- Deliver insights to optimise underwriting and collections processes
- Support credit scorecard development in collaboration with credit/risk teams
- Conduct A/B testing and analyse results for new product initiatives
- Translate stakeholder needs into reporting solutions and KPIs
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and documentation best practices
About You
- At least 1 year in a data analyst business analyst or similar role
- Strong SQL and proficiency in either Python or R
- Skilled in Tableau (or Power BI) for dashboard creation
- Experience working with stakeholders to design scalable reporting solutions
- Exposure to credit analysis scorecard modelling or product testing
- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science Engineering Statistics Data Science) from a reputable South African university
- Analytical curious proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with lending SME finance or financial services data
- Exposure to A/B testing methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms or data warehouses
