About the Role

Jays Care Seasonal positions are designed to provide an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable work experience in the rewarding charitable sport sector. Jays Care Foundation is looking for passionate motivated and enthusiastic individuals to assist in various Jays Care Foundation Program positions. Candidates can expect to travel to various communities and partake in major initiatives projects and programs that have a national reach and large impacts on communities we work with. This opportunity will provide a dynamic fast paced and unique learning experience for individuals with ambition drive and immense potential.


Please note that these are seasonal positions aligned with our high season spanning from approximately February-August 2026. These positions are full-time contracts.


The In-Stadium Events & Volunteer Coordinator plays a vital role in helping to plan and execute Jays Cares All-Star Series our one-of-a-kind on field events at Rogers Centre. Through All-Star Series Jays Care welcomes athletes and program partners to experience the magic of the ballpark and attend an inclusive and accessible baseball for development event that celebrates their participation in our programs.

As an In-Stadium & Volunteer Coordinator you will:

  • Create unforgettable in-stadium experiences for athletes and partners participating in an on-field event through All-Star Series
  • Design and deliver high-quality baseball for development activations and team building activities that focus on baseball fundamentals physical activity leadership and life skills
  • Build strong relationships with Jays Care program partners by supporting the logistics for their in-stadium experience
  • Collaborate with corporate volunteers and staff across Jays Care and the Toronto Blue Jays to ensure efficient execution of safe accessible and inclusive events

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for in-stadium experiences including but not limited to registration scheduling procurement and transportation
  • Provide exceptional and timely customer service to all partners in the lead up to and during their in-stadium experience
  • Support volunteer recruitment and management including but not limited to volunteer outreach registration and communication volunteer onboarding scheduling and day-of leadership
  • Support the design of baseball activations and teambuilders for events and train staff and volunteers in their implementation
  • Design resources and provide leadership and training for all staff and corporate volunteers who help to enable Jays Cares in-stadium experiences


In additiontheseasonal coordinators can expect to be assigned to support a wide range of Jays Care Foundation projects and programs beyond their role including but not limited to:

  • In-stadium events
  • Community events
  • Fundraising events


WhatWereLooking For

  • Baseball experience and knowledge ispreferred butnotrequiredother coaching experience or work with youthis highly valued.
  • Proven ability to lead youth-facing programs with a passion for using baseball and sport as tools for development.
  • Experience working with underserved communities with an understanding of cultural protocols is an asset.
  • Strong communication relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detailwith the ability to work ina fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid G Drivers Licenserequired.


Preferred Qualifications

  • BachelorsDegreeor College Diplomain Recreation Education Sport ManagementBusinessKinesiology or relatedfield.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good demonstration of problem-solving skills and ability to work in a group
  • Significant competence in PowerPointExceland different online communication platforms (Zoom Microsoft Teams)
  • Fluency in French is an asset


SALARY:The anticipated base compensation for this role is $22.00 per hour.

POSITION STATUS:New

WORK LOCATION:In-office; required to work at Rogers Centre five days a week or in the field based on role requirements.
