Imaging Queensland and Central Queensland Radiology are part of Integral Diagnostic (IDX) group one of the largest Radiology providers in Australia with 150 practices located in Queensland Victoria Tasmania SA WA and New Zealand.
Our clinics in Brisbane Moreton Bay the Sunshine Coast and Central Queensland offer comprehensive services including CT MRI Mammography BMD general X-Ray Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.
This opportunity is based in our Brisbane clinic for the first 12-months and then at our Rockhampton sites with Central Queensland Radiology.

About the Role:
As a Trainee Sonographer you will be enrolled in a General Sonography post-graduate course. You will receive support in terms of clinical time with experienced sonographers.
Spend the first 12-months of your university course working under supervision at our Imaging Queensland Brisbane clinic. Conveniently located in Brisbane CBD on the Queen Street Mall you are right in the centre of the city with public transport retail food and entertainment options at your fingertips.
After completing this first year you will then relocate to our Central Queensland Radiology practices and be based in Rockhampton. This year of supervision will provide you with exposure to supervised work in private clinics and public and private hospitals - this is the type of experience that you rarely get as a trainee sonographer!
Youll be paid as a full-time permanent employee for both of these years with regular pay increases as part of our annual salary review process and as you progress in your skills and knowledge. Well also reimburse $10000 per year for your university course fees and pay a relocation allowance of $5000 to help with the move to Rockhampton.
Following your qualification as a Sonographer we require a two-year commitment as a Sonographer working at one of our Central Queensland sites.
What Youll Need:
Enrolled in an accredited Sonography course (or willing to enroll).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Interest in or commitment to sonography training and development.
Tertiary qualification and experience in a medical imaging or healthcare field would be highly desirable.
