Schedule: MondayFriday 8:50 AM 3:40 PM (8.5 hours/day)
Break: 30-minute lunch
Pay Rate: $20$25/hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to support an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classroom. This role supports young learners with diverse developmental and educational needs by assisting the lead teacher in creating a safe inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities
Support students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one and small group assistance as needed
Encourage positive behavior social development and engagement
Prepare and organize instructional materials
Maintain a clean safe and organized classroom
Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding student progress
Participate in staff meetings trainings and professional development

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Special Education or related field (preferred)
Experience working with young children; ECSE or special education experience preferred
Strong communication organizational and teamwork skills
Patience empathy and a passion for supporting children with diverse needs
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
