WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 3 years of California payroll experience (required)
- Process beginning to end semi-monthlypayroll cycle of multi-state employees to ensure timely completion
- Prepare payroll reporting internally and externally
- Assist in commission review and calculations
- Address payroll inquiries from employees and management
- Analyze payroll issues and provide appropriate action plans
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and labor laws
- Ensure documentation is retained per legal requirements and company policy
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 2 years of payroll dealership experience (preferred)
- College Degree (preferred but not required)
- Experience in processing payroll in Paylocity (preferred)
- Excellent communication/organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite to include Outlook Teams Sharepoint etc.
- Intermediate Excel skills to include use of pivot tables xlookups etc.
- Self-starter great work ethic and commitment to organizational success
- Exemplary business ethics professionalism and integrity
- Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
