The Opportunity
This position works out of our Washington DC location within the GA Government Affairs division.
Provide administrative support for Government Affairs Federal team. Responsibilities include general administrative duties tracking and managing budget expenditures support of our government affairs team and other projects as assigned.
What Youll Work On
- Perform administrative functions off the department including answering phones calendar management meeting/event planning coordination and scheduling travel arrangements.
- Track travel budget expenditures basic computer and IT support managing correspondence assisting in preparation of executive briefs.
- Processing expense reports creating or modifying business documents preparing presentations from source materials.
- Managing office supply inventory and other administrative duties as necessary.
- Provide assistance on PAC communications preparation of meeting materials and distribution as mass mailings etc.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Microsoft Excel
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (BA or BS)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction;
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated ability to handle several complex items concurrently and use sound judgment
