We are hiring a Business Controller focused on our Road Guard entity in the Western US. This is not just a steward of financial accuracy but a strategic thinker capable of scaling systems developing people and driving insight through operational data. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our finance operationsresponsible for guiding the accounting team owning technical accounting and partnering cross-functionally with leaders across the business.
This hire is crucial to supporting GSIs ongoing growth including post-acquisition integrations internal control maturation and continuous margin-focused decision making.

Key Responsibilities
Take a hands-on role in the project controls projectreviewand related processes in conjunction with the operations leaders.
Key advisor to operations leadership related to leading and trending indicatorstoimprove company performance
Lead and continuously improve all core accounting functions: month-end close GL management audits reconciliations and internal controls
Conduct andguidetechnical accounting research documentation and policy update.
Oversee accounting execution for complex transaction cycles and key accounts
Serve as a lead partner in the integration ofacquiredentities into GSIs financial systems
Collaborate with FP&A and operational leaders on cashflow budgeting forecasting margin tracking and financial accuracy by project
Support tax planning and compliance in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Drive automation and system improvements to streamline the month-end close process
Prepare key reporting for executive decision making and board visibility
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
5 years of progressive accounting experience
Demonstrated process and systems development experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Deep proficiency in Excel and comfort with financial systems
Preferred Qualifications
CPA certification
Experience running a complete month-end close cycle
Prior use of Vista by Viewpoint
Background in public accounting or fast-scaling private companies
Hands-on experience with M&A integration

The expected base pay range for this position is $XX Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
