Job Description:

Position Purpose

The Regional Property Lead plays a key role within the Property Department providing regional oversight and relationship management for owned and leased properties in alignment with organizational strategy. This position manages facility operations maintenance and construction activities partners closely with ministry units divisional staff and THQ Property and ensures compliance with internal and external standards. Through regular property inspections and proactive planning the role supports safe secure and sustainable facilities that enable The Salvation Army to effectively serve communities across the region.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver effective regional oversight of owned and leased properties thatalignswith organizational strategy and operational priorities.

  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with ministry units divisional staff and THQ Property to ensure responsive and coordinated property support.

  • Ensure facilities are wellmaintained functional and fit for purpose through the management of maintenance capital and construction activities.

  • Achieve compliance with all internal policies standards and external regulatory requirements across the regional property portfolio.

  • Proactively assess property condition and risk through regular inspections reviews and performance monitoring.

  • Identifycurrent and emerging property needs andleadthe development and implementation of practical costeffective solutions.

  • Support safe secure and sustainable environments that protect occupants assets and organizational reputation.

  • Enable ministry units to effectively serve their communities by ensuring property infrastructure supports program delivery and longterm mission goals.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education degree or experience in fields such as property management architecture operations assetmanagementora relevantdiscipline.

  • Certified Property or Facility Management designation is an asset.

  • Seven (7)yearsof experience in facilities management and project management of construction/maintenance projects

  • Seven (7)yearsof professional experience focused specifically on building engineering maintenance operations facilities construction or relevant experience

  • Build strong respectful relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse client population.

  • Apply strong problemsolving analytical and criticalthinking skills balancing technicalexpertise creativity reasonableness and cultural sensitivity.

  • Interpret complex architectural mechanical electrical and structural drawings to support informed property decisions.

  • Demonstrate leadership responsiveness and creativity in delivering property services managing escalations with urgency and empathy.

  • Plan manage and oversee property improvement projects and scheduled maintenance programs within budget and time constraints including preparing tender documents.

  • Align with The Salvation Armys values andmaintainthe flexibility to travel throughout the region (valid Glicense and vehicle considered an asset).

Working Conditions:

  • Overtime may beto meet deadlines and to support front lines needs

  • Regular work outside

  • Travel iswithin the region extensively (up to 50% of time)

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $100390.71 to $125488.38 with a maximum of $150586.06.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
