Shape the future of how customers shop for groceries and everyday essentials at Amazon India. As a Senior Business Development Manager you will own strategic technology-enabled initiatives that expand and evolve Amazon Nows fulfillment and delivery capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to lead an India-first initiative with potential to scale across global marketplaces.
You will work at the intersection of business technology and operations to launch new capabilities build scalable mechanisms and drive long-term growth.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end business development and execution of large cross-functional technology-enabled initiatives
Partner with product engineering operations and finance teams to design launch and scale new operating capabilities
Develop business cases operating plans and success metrics to align senior stakeholders and drive decision-making
Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities that improve selection cost speed and customer experience
Drive structured experimentation and pilots to validate assumptions and inform scaling decisions
Lead stakeholder reviews track program health and proactively manage risks and dependencies
Analyze performance metrics and customer insights to continuously optimize launched initiatives
Collaborate with global teams to ensure learnings and capabilities can be extended across marketplaces
A day in the life
You start your day reviewing performance metrics and key initiative milestones. You align with partner teams on execution progress unblock dependencies and prepare data-backed updates for senior leadership. Your time is split between strategic planning operational deep dives and cross-functional coordination as initiatives move from concept to launch and scale.

- 5 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5 years of professional or military experience
- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience
- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Global Financial Services Industry experience
- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Automotive & Manufacturing industries experience
- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries experience
- 5 years of Go-To-Market Business Development Sales or Consulting experience
- 5 years of working with Advanced Compute technologies including but not limited to: Accelerated Compute High Performance Compute Visual/Spatial Compute and/or IoT. experience
- 5 years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies including but not limited to Mainframe Serverless Containers or Cloud Operations experience
- 5 years of working with Data & AI related technologies including but not limited to AI/ML GenAI Analytics Database and/or Storage experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of publisher ad tech stacks and/or advertising technology
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements
