The HUB summer internship programexposes students to the vast career opportunities within the growing insurance and investment industry. Working with our Retirement and Private Wealth team you will learn about our business through on-the-job training working with HUB team members to gain experience in what its like to work in this dynamic career field. If you are team oriented service minded and enjoy working with people in a challenging fast paced environment this is a terrific opportunity for you!
What You Can Expect:
Interns will be introduced to the world of retirement advising and will actively engage in a variety of tasks/projects within the Client Service arenas learning about the:
Clients we serve and the vast industries they represent.
The types of products we provide with a focus on our Retirement and Private Wealth line of business.
Vendors with whom we partner.
Basic laws/regulations governing our business and how we ensure compliance.
How we set and execute client strategies.
Qualifications:
Current college junior pursuing a bachelors degree with preferred area of study in Finance or other majors with a specific interest in our industry and the investment career field .
Desire and willingness to learn about the retirement industry is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
Self-directed and a willingness to work independently at times.
A positive attitude that embraces teamwork and learning.
