Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Producer Intern to join our content team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside Executive Producers and Senior Producers on daily network programming while also contributing to digital content initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Assist Executive and Senior Producers with the development and execution of daily network shows

Support show production including research scripting and segment development

Respond quickly to breaking news and weather situations contributing to the news teams coverage.

Help identify and source compelling video content for broadcast and digital platforms

Write and edit scripts for television and digital use

Participate in control room operations and gain exposure to live production workflows

Collaborate with team members to support content across multiple platforms

Qualifications:

Strong interest in broadcast production journalism or digital media

Excellent writing communication and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Familiarity with current events and storytelling for TV and digital platforms is a plus
