Job Summary

A supportive and well-established 1118 secondary school in Hinckley is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher suitable for an Early Career Teacher to join its collaborative Humanities faculty.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT looking to develop strong classroom practice within a school that values high-quality teaching clear routines and thoughtful curriculum design.


The Role

You will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering lessons that balance physical and human geography while building strong geographical skills. The curriculum places emphasis on secure knowledge case study depth and exam confidence.

Lessons are well structured and supported by shared departmental planning giving ECTs clarity and confidence while still allowing room for creativity and individual teaching style.

There is scope to develop towards GCSE teaching responsibilities as your experience grows.


ECT Support & Development
