Job Summary
We are working with an Exceptional academy in Brent recruiting for a dynamic and socially conscious Sociology ECT for a September start.
About the Role This permanent role offers an ECT the opportunity to teach Sociology across KS4 and KS5. You will encourage students to think critically about society social structures and global issues in a department that values academic inquiry and debate.

Responsibilities
Deliver Sociology lessons that foster critical thinking and debate.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations with high-quality resources.
Contribute to the broader Social Sciences faculty through collaborative planning.
Engage with parents and guardians regarding student attainment and wellbeing.
Requirements
QTS (or pending) and a strong understanding of Sociological theory.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Valid enhanced DBS.
Salary M1 UPS3 () per annum.
