Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science ECT to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in Oxford from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to begin their teaching career in a school that values innovation collaboration and high-quality support for new staff.

The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons
Supporting practical science lessons with a strong focus on safety and understanding
Developing confident classroom routines and positive behaviour management
Assessing pupil progress and using feedback to inform teaching
Working closely with experienced colleagues within the Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to qualify as an ECT
A degree in a Science-related subject
The ability to teach general Science across KS3 and KS4
A positive reflective approach to teaching and learning
Willingness to take feedback on board and develop professionally
Good organisation skills and a calm professional teaching style
