The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with design projects and coursework
Promoting safe working practices and high standards in workshops
Developing confident classroom routines and positive behaviour management
Working closely with experienced colleagues and technicians within the DT department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to qualify as an ECT
A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
The ability to teach DT across KS3 and KS4
A positive reflective approach to teaching and learning
Willingness to take feedback on board and develop professionally
Good organisational skills and a calm supportive teaching style
