Job Summary
Job Title: Assessor/Trainer - Plumbing and Gas
Location:

Salary:
31110 - 36157 per annum
Job Responsibilities:
- Design plan and deliver high-quality training and assessment in Plumbing and Gas to a diverse range of learners.
- Assess learners skills and knowledge through practical and theoretical evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their development and progression in their studies.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement as per college policy.
- Engage with industry partners to ensure training programs are aligned with current practices and standards.
- Participate in curriculum development and improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness.
- Contribute to the continuous quality improvement processes within the academic department.
- Provide support and mentorship to learners assisting them with any challenges they may face during their training.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and regulations in the Plumbing and Gas sector.
Essential Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Plumbing and Gas ideally at Level 3 or above.
- Recognised assessor and/or teaching qualifications (e.g. A1 TAQA PTLLS or equivalent).
- Current Gas Safe Registration.
Desired Experience:
- Proven experience in training or assessing in the field of Plumbing and Gas.
- Experience working within a college or training environment is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with learners colleagues and industry partners.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative training methods to cater to various learning styles.
