Within Financial Crime Prevention NL (FCP NL) we see it as our goal to build a safe society by detecting and preventing financial crime. As data analysts we contribute bybeing experts on our data: weidentifyrisks we provide insights and we build dashboardsfor our processes we support are related to KYC / Customer Due Diligence: onboarding periodicreviewsand event driven reviews.
Role and responsibilities
As experienced Data Analyst within FCP NL you will be responsible for analysing and understanding our FEC processes. You will consume DMKYC and provide clear and actionable insights for management and process owners. You will act as an consultant and manage your stakeholders. The tools you will use are SAS DBeaver and Cognos. You are curious by nature proactive and analytical with a strong sense of ownership and drive for delivery. You thrive in complex environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity high-pressure situations and working towards challenging deadlines.

We are looking forthe following data analyst:
You hold aMasters degreeshowing analytical capability (Mathematics Econometrics Computer Science Information Management Statistics or alike) oryou haveequivalent experienceworking as a data analyst.
You are analytically strong and are a star in assessing and solving problems making analyses and sharing results with impact.
You have 3 years experience with SAS and SQL in combination with Cognos and PowerBI.
You have deep understanding on statistical analyses. You know which tests to select and can perform the analyses and translate the results to actionable insights for management.
You havedeep understandingFCP NL CDD processes and particularly the DMKYC. ACAMS or similar certification is a pre.
You act as an internal consultant understanding the needs and questions on both operational and strategic level and you are able to effectively answer them with your analytical skills
Youenjoyworking with yourdata analystcolleagues twice a week at the office(Amsterdam Acanthus)
Communicatively strong team player and taking initiative and ownership
Masteryof the English and Dutch languages(B2/C1: written and in speech)and hold current residency in the Netherlands
