Ashford Hospital - Overnight Receptionist
We are seeking to recruit a motivated and dynamic Receptionist to join our Administration team to be the face and voice of our hospital during the night. If you are passionate about providing service excellence with proven ability in flexibility compassion and initiative we want to hear from you.
About the role:
Answer and re-direct calls on a switchboard whilst maintaining a positive and professional manner
Prepare admission paperwork
Admit and discharge patients
Maintain accurate and effective record management including preparation of medical records
Perform health fund checks as required utilising webPAS and Eclipse
Liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff
Complete other clerical tasks as required

Ability to work 4 overnight shifts (hours) per fortnight over a 7-day roster
Ability to cover leave
Ability to work well independently and within a team with a can do attitude
