One challenge for component & system technologies operations is that a poorly designed and governed enterprise network architecture can rapidly become a single point of failure for industrial operations exposing critical production systems to security breaches service outages and long-term performance degradation if network design standards and evolution are not rigorously mastered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our service is to bring assistance with a Consultant in the context of complex enterprise IT environments combining office and industrial networks multi-site infrastructures security constraints and ongoing transformation of network architectures and services.

The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:

1) Supporting projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress towards objectives
- Acts as a technical reference and partner for IT teams.
- Defines network architecture standards.
- Accompanies major structuring projects.
- Conducts studies to define network needs with IT and business teams.
- Ensures compliance with Group standards during project design and delivery.
- Participates actively in project working groups.
- Accompanies project delivery and occasionally ensures technical coordination of certain initiatives.
- Provides expertise to local IT entities and the Group.
- Accompanies action plans for compliance with standards.
- Provides support and expertise to information security functions.
- Participates in the development of new services within the network domain.
- Defines the impact of new technologies and recommends technical choices aligned with security requirements.

2) Supporting projects with rational and data-driven assessments (costs quality timelines objective analysis)
- Ensures performance security resilience and alignment with business needs.
- Anticipates technological evolutions of network architectures.
- Verifies proper implementation of network norms and standards.
- Follows market offerings of new technologies and evaluates their relevance.
- Proposes network architecture optimization scenarios in terms of costs user experience efficiency and redundancy.

3) Supporting projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution
- Designs enterprise network architectures.
- Evolves existing network architectures.
- Ensures the overall consistency of network architectures.
- Defines the technical architecture for network scopes.
- Defines the assembly of standard technologies in compliance with standards to best meet project needs.
- Writes general network architecture documentation.
- Intervenes in support on incidents or post-mortem analyses to control Build/Run/Design needs.
- Defines the roadmap for the evolution of network components and associated services.

Profile:
- Masters degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network environments preferably in manufacturing envrionements and large international organizations.
- Proven experience covering design implementation and support with a comprehensive understanding of the Design/Build/Run lifecycle.
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Valid single permit for non-EU citizens.
