Operations Supervisor

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the primary service that depends on well-maintained vehicles organization and tracking of the fleet and expenses within the company. The GSE manager will have the ability to accurately maintain and hold responsibility for an exceptional level of quality of all ground support equipment in the company and ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by established procedures and protocols.

What you will be doing

Supervise Aircraft Fuelers in their assigned areas to ensure Fuelers are performing their duties in a professional safe and efficient manner according to Company/Carriers standards
Ensure the effective operation of fueling
Responsible for accurate accounting and fuel transactions
Recommending manpower requirements
Maintaining harmony among workers and resolving grievances
Perform as mentor to other employees
Performing or assisting subordinates in performing duties
Ensuring disciplinary procedures are conducted in a fair timely and consistent manner

Ability to comply with attendance/tardiness standards
Operate fuel trucks to provide services to customers
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

Prior Aircraft Fueling experience required
Prior management supervisory or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Possess and maintain a valid US drivers license with a clean driving record
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
Ability to proficiently read write and speak English
Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
Possess/Maintain FAA required identification/seals or authorizations
Must have a high school diploma GED or six months experience as a Lead Fueler
Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Drivers License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred).
To report any significant deficiency in our products materials and documents
Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to safety and security
