Job Summary

Director of Hospitality Napa Valley Winery
A well-established Napa Valley winery is seeking an experienced Director of Hospitality to lead tasting room operations guest experience and on-site sales performance. This dynamic hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who excels at delivering elevated service while driving revenue growth membership retention and team development in a luxury winery setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a leader and brand ambassador delivering exceptional hospitality to a diverse global guest base

  • Drive tasting room sales performance membership retention and achievement of individual and team goals

  • Lead coach and develop hospitality staff with a strong emphasis on sales excellence and guest engagement

  • Participate in leadership meetings contributing ideas and insights to enhance guest experience and operations

  • Host daily lineups reviewing VIP visits and key talking points to ensure consistent high-quality service

  • Lead ongoing wine education and training initiatives to keep the team knowledgeable engaged and confident

  • Oversee VIP guest experiences and curate personalized visits for top clients

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support on-site events as needed

  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hospitality roles and assist where necessary

  • Ensure tasting room readiness including glassware inventory wine stocking and menu availability

  • Partner with leadership to identify supply needs and operational improvements
