In this IR RN role youll lead preprocedure and postprocedure care perform patient assessments verify prescriptions and consent prep and assist during interventional procedures maintain sterile fields manage contrast administration monitor hemodynamics and respond to any complications with composure. Youll document care communicate clearly with physicians technologists families and ancillary staff and participate in ongoing IR team training. The position emphasizes professional growth in interventional radiology offering exposure to vascular neurovascular and oncologic IR workflows with opportunities to pursue certifications crosstraining and potential leadership tracks.
