Job Summary

Summary: Shortage of ENT Physicians to staff our Level II Trauma Center. Coverage will be over weekends.

RATES:

Malpractice Must be included in rates.

Orientation $187.50-212.50 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours

On Call (Daily) $Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis

24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis

Call Back $375-425 Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Holiday Call Back $562.50-637.50 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Schedule/Availability Requirements 2026 dates:

- July 03 @ 12pm July 06 @ 7am
- Sept 04 @ 7am Sept 08 @ 7am
- Dec 24 @ 7am Dec 28 @ 7am

Facility Location: CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital

Setting: Level II Trauma Center bed hospital

Duties: Cover ENT call coverage and come in when requested by our trauma/ED Physicians

FTE: .33

Required Procedures: Adenoidectomy Audiogram lump/tumor removal tonsillectomy

EMR: EPIC

Support Staff: Anesthesia CRNA Surgery Dept.

Reason for Coverage: We are losing one of our ENT Providers and will only have 2 left in the group to take call. We are required to have 24/7 ENT coverage to maintain our Level II Trauma center status.

Dealbreakers: Must be board certified

Air Travel: To and from Kearney NE

Board Certified - REQUIRED
Must have a NE license or be able to get one within a few months. Compact license is fine! - REQUIRED
DEA - REQUIRED
CLEAN Malpractice - REQUIRED
Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - REQUIRED
