Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian in Morehead City will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to our clients beloved pets. You will work closely with a supportive team of veterinarians technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and client satisfaction. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about small animal medicine and eager to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive medical surgical and dental care to companion animals.
Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
Educate clients on preventative care treatment options and post-care instructions.
Maintain accurate medical records in line with hospital standards.
Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Keep up to date with current veterinary practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school.
Licensed to practice in North Carolina (or eligible for licensure).
At least 2-5 years of experience in small animal medicine required (no new grads please).
Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
A team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
