Job Summary
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (required for ICU/ED and applicable specialty areas)
- Additional unit-specific certifications as applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the assigned specialty
- Cerner EHR experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to new EHR workflows and technology
- Strong clinical documentation skills
- Flexibility during system transition and go-live period
- Experience in federal or VA healthcare settings is a plus
- Provide direct patient care before during and after Federal EHR go-live
- Support continuity of high-quality patient care during system transition
- Accurately document care in the EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple departments
- Assist with workflow changes related to new EHR implementation
- Maintain compliance with VA policies procedures and standards of care
- VA Medical Center environment
- High-impact assignment supporting a major Federal EHR implementation
