Job Summary (List Format): - Assess and identify patient/resident care needs through direct communication and rapport-building.
- Provide emotional psychological and spiritual support to patients/residents and their families.
- Promote patient/resident independence by setting care goals educating on conditions and self-care and addressing questions.
- Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and making necessary adjustments based on care goals and outcomes.
- Resolve patient/resident issues by utilizing multidisciplinary team approaches.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and calling for assistance as needed.
- Follow infection-control medication and controlled substance policies to protect patients/residents and staff.
- Accurately document patient/resident care services and maintain department records.
- Ensure continuity of care by communicating actions irregularities and ongoing needs among nursing teams.
- Safeguard patient/resident confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment through preventive maintenance troubleshooting and inventory management.
- Maintain inventory of nursing supplies by monitoring stock and placing timely orders.
- Stay updated professionally by attending workshops reading publications networking and participating in professional societies.
- Foster cooperative relationships within healthcare teams through effective communication and teamwork.
- Support overall team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
Requirements: - Education: Associate Degree or higher; Current RN Licensure.
- Experience: Prior RN experience highly preferred.
- Skills/Qualifications: EMR/EHR proficiency customer service time management organization attention to detail professionalism quality focus.
