Job Summary
CONTROL ROOM MANAGER
Job Title:Control Room Manager
Reports To:Regional Operations Manager / General Manager
Location:Nelspruit Control Room
Role Purpose:
- To lead manage and oversee the strategic and operational performance of the Control Room ensuring full functionality riskmitigationandcompliance
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Control Monitoring
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Control Room team (Supervisors & Controllers).
- Ensure all Control Room logs incidents and evidence trails are properlymaintained.
- Conduct weekly audits failure investigations and platform health checks.
- Liaise with client representatives Sector Supervisors andSector Managers
- Coordinate training system upgrades and integration of new monitoring technologies.
- Enforce SOP adherence performance standards and real-time response protocols.
StaffManagement
- EnsureSOP adherenceandperformance standardsby conducting SOP Training every three months and keeping a trainingregister for alltraining conducted with the Control Room
- The Control Room Manageris responsible forHR Related issues within the not limited toforwardingof leaveforms sick leaveformsand Injury on duty.
- The Control Room Manager willensure thatall staff members arecompliantin terms of PSIRAMedicalsinductionsand weapons competency where applicable
- ImplementImmediatecorrective actionin the event ofnon-compliance orApplication/Platformfailures.
- Approve shift rosters and authorize critical incident escalations.
- Zero ToleranceEnforcement -ImplementAny disciplinary processes that have been proposed after failures have beenidentifiedduring post incident debrief analysis
