Vendor Management Lead

The Role

As the Vendor Management Lead you will provide expert advice on a range of activities associated with IT vendor selection contracts governance risk vendor relationship and performance management.

In this role you will:

• ensure commercial and operational commitments are delivered to meet business objectives
• focus on continuous improvement to support best practice and alignment with Central Purchasing direction
• lead quality assurance activities to maintain compliance with policy requirements for DTS purchasing
• work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of services

This full-time position is a permanent role at a HEW 8 located at Callaghan Campus (Awabakal Land).

How will you inspire us

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience in the procurement of IT goods and services contract management and effective vendor relationships
• Extensive knowledge of the purchasing lifecycle best practice sourcing and quality assurance methods with a track record of driving policy and governance compliance.
• Demonstrated competence in risk identification and mitigation across procurement and vendor activities strong ethical standards and experience applying organisational purchasing policies and governance.
• Proven ability to partner with internal stakeholders and act as a senior point of escalation for supplier issues maintaining service continuity and effective vendor relationships.
