About the role

Werelooking for ahands-onLeadDeveloper(Frontend - React)to help drive themigrationof to amodern React/TypeScript project willutilisecutting edgeAI to help with with other engineering team todevelopnewcomplexfeaturesand help set standards for our frontend architecture codequalityand tooling.

Youllcollaborate closely with backend engineersdesignersand product managers and play a key role in mentoring other frontend engineers and lifting frontend capability across the role is ideal for someone who wants to stay deeply technical while also shaping how a frontend team works collaborates and delivers.

Whatyoulldo

• Leading design anddeliveryofcomplex high-qualityuser-facingfeaturesin a modern web applicationusing React and TypeScript.

• Spendingthe majority ofyour time hands-on coding with a smaller but meaningful focus on team leadership and mentorship.

• Working closely with product design and engineering peers to turn ideas into polished scalable solutions.

• Raising the bar for frontend quality through thoughtful architecture testing and code reviews.

• Helping evolve frontend standards patterns and best practices across the team.

• Participate in design discussions peerreviewsand technical decision-making.

• Mentor and support other engineers through code reviewspairingand knowledge sharing.

Whatwerelooking for

• Strong commercial experience building large-scale frontend applications.

• Deepexpertisein modern React JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks and component-based UI development.

• Deep understanding of frontend architecturecomponentdesign statemanagementand routing.

• Experiencecomponentlibraries and frontend theming.

• Solid experience writing andmaintainingunit and snapshot tests.

• A passion for clean code maintainability and user experience.

• Proven ability to mentor other engineers and influence frontend standards and direction.
