Job Summary

Job title: Strategy Lead

Reports to: Senior Vice President

Location: Lenexa KS

Were looking for a strategic thinker and organized planner to help drive our companys growth and market success. As our Strategy Lead youll build the tools processes and plans that keep our teams aligned and moving forward. This role offers significant growth potential with the opportunity to expand into a leadership position with direct reports.

What Youll Do

Lead Strategic Planning: Develop and facilitate company market and regional strategic and tactical plans. Monitor progress quarterly and hold teams accountable to goals.
Drive Business Intelligence: Manage CRM dashboards and reports track key metrics and forecast contracted backlog to support leadership decision-making.
Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Market Leads Business Development Operations and affiliate partners to ensure all efforts align with company strategy.
Support Operations Initiatives: Partner with Operations Directors on long-term initiatives and work with Learning & Development on team training and communications.
Enable Growth: Identify opportunities for improvement and create actionable plans.

What You Bring

Required Experience:

General contracting experience managing projects through all phases with varied complexity (design/build preferred)
Business development and pursuit experience in general contracting
Experience with market analysis construction cycles and trend identification
Risk management and problem-solving skills in a contracting environment

Key Skills:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong facilitation abilities and emotional intelligence
Proven track record motivating and influencing teams
Strategic vision with the ability to create clear execution plans
Comfortable presenting to leadership partners and clients
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams
Organized proactive and results-driven
Comfortable with ambiguity and change
Preference for simplicity over bureaucracy
