What Youll Possess

Qualified Candidates Will:

• Youll possess a High School Diploma. Associates Degree or Technology Center Certificate preferred.
• Youll possess three years of work experience andor vocational training in construction trades.
• Youll have a background in basic carpentry and care and using common hand and power tools.
• Youll have some finish carpentry experience.
• Youll have familiarity with HVAC electricity plumbing and OSHA safety rules and regulations and procedures including proper use and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Youll possess or be willing to obtain a Forklift Certification.
• Youll possess or be willing to obtain a Bus Driver Certification.
• You are detail-oriented and organized. Youll simultaneously work on several tasks related to all things TCT and manage them with ease. Youre a project planner who meets deadlines.
• Youll have excellent customer service. Youre a fanatic about great customer service. Youll exceed expectations and have excellent follow-up skills.
• Youll take the initiative seek out projects and openly accept other duties as assigned.
• Youll have excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Frequent climbing standing stooping and/or lifting 50lbs

What Youll Do

Essential Functions:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks for HVAC plumbing electrical and building assets
• Perform installation troubleshooting and general repair and maintenance for carpentry-related projects.
• Patch repair and paint interior and exterior wall systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of plumbing systems including unclogging drains repair and replacement of fixtures and repair of leaks in water supply and sanitary drains.
• Assist with general repairs service and general maintenance of the fleet vehicles.
• Provide maintenance to walkways and service areas by assisting with leaf blowing snow removal etc.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe campus by promptly removing any debris trash or hazards as they arise.
• Treat the interior and exterior of buildings as necessary for insect and rodent control.
• Other Job-Related Duties as Assigned by the Supervisor: The omission of duties does not exclude it from the position if similar related or a logical assignment to the other words youll be helping out on spontaneous projects and opportunities not listed above.

Terms of Employment: Twelve months; salary to be established by the Board of Education.

Evaluation: Performance evaluated by the Senior Administrative Director per Board policy.

Status: Non-Exempt

Salary: $26.00 p/hour ($54000 annually)
