Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is hiring a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a Long Term Care (LTC) assignment at Atrium Place Health and Rehabilitation.
This role involves working under a Physical Therapist to deliver patient care assist with treatments and support rehabilitation programs for patients across various age groups.
Facility Information
- Facility: Atrium Place Health and Rehabilitation
- Location: St. Louis MO
- Setting: Long Term Care (LTC) / Rehab
- Floating: May float to Aspen facility
Key Responsibilities
- Assist PT in implementing treatment plans
- Support patients with exercises mobility and rehabilitation activities
- Perform therapeutic techniques including stretching and balance training
- Monitor patient response and report progress to PT
- Educate patients and families on home care techniques
- Assist with transfers (wheelchair walker etc.)
- Maintain therapy area and equipment
- Complete documentation and administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
Active Missouri PTA License
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year PTA experience (Required)
LTC or Rehab experience (Required)
Scheduling & Assignment Details
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours/week (Guaranteed)
- Floating: Possible (Aspen facility)
- Weekend: Potential requirement
