Technical Operations Manager (AWS Focus) - OFFSHORE

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Operations Manager with deep AWS expertise to lead optimize and stabilize a large-scale engineering and operations organization. This role is essential for driving operational efficiency standardization and accountability across complex multi-team environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Oversee daily technical operations to ensure uptime system stability and efficient workflow across engineering and operations teams.
Team Oversight: Manage NTT resources and internal consultants with clear expectations performance management and accountability.
Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with engineering leaders to identify system gaps and inefficiencies; drive remediation through Jira task management Agile sprint planning and structured execution.
Process Standardization: Develop document and implement operational procedures runbooks and best practices across teams.
Cloud Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance performance cost efficiency and reliability of cloud infrastructurewith a primary focus on AWS while supporting multi-cloud environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with business and technology stakeholders to set priorities manage resources and maintain project timelines.
FinOps Support: Contribute to cloud financial operations efforts to improve visibility governance and cost optimization in AWS and other cloud platforms.
Agile Execution: Work within an Agile framework supporting sprint planning backlog refinement and efficient delivery cycles.
Post-Transition Stabilization: Drive system integration cleanup rationalization and stabilization following recent acquisitions and the NCR transition.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience managing large-scale operations or engineering teams within an enterprise or managed services environment.
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS including comfort with AWS-native services monitoring governance and operational tooling.
Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS GCP Azure) and hybrid architecture.
Demonstrated leadership across direct matrixed vendor and consultant teams.
Background in FinOps or experience supporting financial operations in cloud environments (financial services experience a plus).
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies with hands-on use of Jira.
Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead initiatives independently enforce accountability and drive operational excellence across diverse technical teams.
