Responsibilities
Lead and manage all technical aspects of construction projects from planning to completion
Review and approve technical drawings specifications and construction methodologies
Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and industry standards
Provide technical guidance and support to project managers engineers and site teams
Coordinate with architects consultants contractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress quality and adherence to design specifications
Implement best practices in construction technology materials and sustainability
Prepare monthly Job Method Statements (JMS) and Work Inspection Reports (WIR) to support interim progress claims (IPC) until project completion
Plan and monitor project execution according to the Work Programme (WP) and Gantt chart timeline to ensure timely delivery
Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously ensuring resources are allocated effectively and deadlines are met
Prepare technical reports risk assessments and recommendations for management
Drive continuous improvement in construction process and technical standards
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction project management with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and building systems
Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial residential or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with project management software (e.g. MS Project Primavera AutoCAD BIM tools)
Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Professional certifications (e.g. PMP Chartered Engineer) are an advantage
