Job Summary
He will support the India Finance team in delivering high - quality financial planning
analysis reporting and business partnering. This role is critical in driving data - based decision - making monthly
performance reviews budgeting forecasting and supporting business initiatives to improve profitability cost
efficiency and operational excellence.
ey Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Financial Planning & Forecasting :
Support the annual operating plan (AOP) quarterly forecasts and monthly outlook submissions.
Coordinate with cross - functional teams (Operations SCM Sales HR Projects) to gather assumptions and
validate inputs.
- Develop financial models for revenue cost margin and cash flow forecasting.
- Monitor actual vs. forecast variances and identify risks/opportunities.
Management Reporting
Prepare monthly MIS executive dashboards KPI scorecards and performance packs for senior
management.
Analyse P&L Balance Sheet and Cash Flow movements; ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
Consolidate site - level performance and highlight key business drivers.
C. Business Partnering
Work closely with plant SCM commercial and operations teams to improve cost control inventory
optimisation and operating efficiencies.
Support pricing decisions margin analysis and cost - benefit evaluations for business cases.
Facilitate financial insights for capex proposals project evaluations and cost - saving initiatives.
Process Improvement
Drive automation of reporting and analytics using tools such as Excel Power BI.
Standardise templates for monthly reviews and management packs.
Support internal audit compliance and internal control strengthening.
Compliance & Support Activities
Ensure adherence to company policies accounting standards and internal controls.
Support external audits tax teams and corporate finance queries.
Assist in ERP (IFS/SAP/Oracle) data extraction validations and reconciliation
Requirements
Critical Competencies for Success
Hands on experience in financial statements preparation as per companies act
Positive attitude hardworking and ability to work under pressure.
In-depth understanding of P&L Balance Sheet Cash Flow and manufacturing finance concepts.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI added advantage.
Good understanding of cost accounting standard costing and variance analysis.
Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Proactive self-driven and capable of working independently.
Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
Meticulous & Attention for detail in the analysis process.
Critical thinking process.
Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal).
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently and understanding of accounting processes
procedure and internal controls.
Problem solving skills & flexibility to adopt a solution - based approach.
Preferably with CMA Inter /CA Inter 1- 2 years related work experience.
Knowledge of finance accounting budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles and IFRS.
Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications familiar to IFS/ SAP/Cloud
Knowledge of Local GAAP/ COGNOS and reporting requirements
