Job Summary
Gender:Male
- Design and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lesson plans for Classes 9 and 10 Biology incorporating active learning strategies and real-world applications.
- Utilize a variety of teaching tools and technologies (including digital simulations multimedia and lab equipment) to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Conduct regular laboratory sessions to reinforce theoretical knowledge through hands-on experiments and scientific inquiry.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with subject coordinators and fellow teachers to align teaching strategies with institutional academic goals.
- Support students in preparing for board examinations including review sessions practice tests and individualized academic guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development workshops departmental meetings and curriculum review processes.
- Foster a positive inclusive and respectful classroom environment that encourages curiosity critical thinking and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Biology or Life Sciences; Masters degree (.) in Biology is preferred.
- Valid teaching certification (e.g. . or equivalent) with specialization in Science or Biology.
- 25 years of proven experience teaching Biology at the secondary level (Classes 910).
- In-depth knowledge of the CBSE ICSE or state board curriculum including syllabus structure and examination patterns.
- Strong proficiency in classroom management lesson planning and assessment techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to use technology in teaching (e.g. LMS platforms interactive whiteboards digital labs).
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching student mentorship and continuous professional growth.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence
