Our client is a leading social selling company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
A. Architecture & Strategy
- Architecture vision & scale: Define and drive the architecture roadmap to deliver scalable reliable high-performance systems ensuring Ecomobis products remain sustainable over the next five years.
- Data foundation: Design and strengthen the Data Warehouse to provide clean trusted and easily accessible data that enables strong BI analytics and decision-making.
- Cost efficiency: Regularly review and improve infrastructure spend (cloud servers tools) while maintaining service quality and performance.
B. Technical Leadership & Transformation
- Technical leadership: Serve as the engineering technical leader setting standards and building a culture of technical excellence across the team.
- Org/process redesign: Diagnose gaps then lead engineering structure and process improvements to increase efficiency delivery speed and quality.
C. Operational Management
- Budget ownership: Own and manage technology budgets (Opex/Capex) ensuring disciplined spend and ongoing cost optimization.
- Resilience & response: Implement disaster recovery readiness and establish effective incident management and response practices.
Requirements
- At least 35 years in a CTO / VP Engineering role within large-scale technology organizations.
- System architecture: Track record of designing and scaling high-traffic transactional platforms.
- Data warehouse / big data: Strong capability in building and operating large-scale data architectures.
- Working knowledge of modern security frameworks standards and best practices.
- Able to set a 25 year technology direction and convert business priorities into practical technical roadmaps.
- Transformation leadership: Proven success leading change restructuring engineering organizations and improving execution and outcomes.
- Highly hands-on when needed able to diagnose complex issues and provide expert guidance to engineering teams.
- People leadership: Demonstrated ability to hire develop and retain high-performing engineering teams (50 headcount).
- Nice-to-have tech stack Backend: PHP Go (Golang) Python Frontend: Flutter
