The Opportunity:
Were looking to fill an opening for a Product Analyst to join our Asset Management Investment team.
Reporting to the Director Product Research & Portfolio Manager the Product Analyst is responsible for supporting investment management solutions and maintaining the product shelf for Aviso.
The role will participate in due diligence research of investment products for eligibility in the platform and communicating product decisions to service internal stakeholders and external investment professionals. Investment research and analytical skills will be utilized in supporting inhouse investment portfolios and product recommendations.

What your day looks like:
- Evaluate product requests from clients and perform due diligence with fund companies on products to ensure compliance with Avisos Due Diligence program and KYP requirements while mitigating organizational risk
- Manage the Product Review inbox providing timely decisions to internal and external stakeholders
- As secretary of the internal Product Review Committee meetings
- Analyze product shelf and prepare relevant reports
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party fund companies to meet compliance and operational requirements
- Develop and maintain investment reports marketing materials investment fact sheets and performance data for proprietary products
- Conduct research on dealer product solutions such as the analysis and reporting of ETF model portfolios recommended mutual fund list and alternative products
- Analyze and compare product performance against competitors offering recommendations for reviews and opportunities
- Provide support to Advisors on proprietary investment solutions
- Project coordination of departmental product enhancements and initiatives aligned to evolving priorities as assigned
RequirementsYour experience and skills:
- Degree from a post-secondary institution with education in Business Administration Finance Economics or related fields
- Completion of a minimum CFA Level 1 with a commitment to pursuing the CFA charter within 5 years
- 3-5 years experience in the investment industry with demonstrated expertise in investment concepts analytics portfolio theory and/or investment administration and sales
- Experience in conducting product research and portfolio reporting.
- Experience with Morningstar Direct Refinitiv and Python is advantageous
- Intermediary level MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
- Self-motivated strong attention to detail and able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Dealer and credit union working experience is an asset
